Arm Lift (Brachioplasty)

Definitive correction for excess arm skin.

A definitive solution

In the era of massive weight loss, excess arm skin can be an important problem for many patients. For this, the most definitive operation is a brachioplasty.

In this operation, we excise the extra skin and fat of the upper arm and taper the excision at the elbow and armpit. The incision is then closed with layers of sutures, usually without a drain.

Recovery

Patients wear compression garments for about three months. The transformation is immediate and permanent. We usually recommend scar taping for six to twelve weeks to keep the scar narrow and pretty.
