Trigger Finger Release

Release of the A1 pulley for locking, catching, or painful fingers and thumb.

Stop the catch

Trigger finger (stenosing tenosynovitis) causes a finger or thumb to catch or lock painfully when bent. When steroid injection and hand therapy aren’t enough, a brief outpatient surgical release of the A1 pulley resolves the problem with a very small incision and a rapid recovery.

Coverage

Trigger finger release is typically covered by insurance.
