What a breast lift can do
A breast lift, or mastopexy, can help improve the nipple position and the shape of the breast. Dr. Steffen has extensive experience with mastopexy for both cosmetic and reconstructive purposes.
Mastopexy removes excess skin of the breast and lifts the nipple to its normal position, restoring the ideal appearance of the breast.
Technique
Various incision patterns are used depending on your needs — circumareolar, vertical, and wise-pattern skin incisions. For patients who also want improved fullness in the upper pole of the breast, an implant or fat grafting can be added to address this at the same time.
